Recommended sites

This is a list of the websites where I get some of my information which I plan to put into these posts. Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any of the content on these websites. Though these sites are legal, there is the possibility that there could be content which one may find inappropriate/offensive.

Toho Kingdom - This is an awesome site. It contains almost everything related to Toho Co., Ltd. From Monster Bios to Cast and Crew, Toho Kingdom has loads of info on (in my opinion) one of the world's most successful movie companies. Note: this is a FAN website and Toho does not own nor endorse it.

Tardis.wikia - The unofficial (but still very informative) Doctor Who Wiki. Some of the information on here can't be found on the official Doctor Who webpage. This website contains everything like the monsters and technology from the show.

Wikipedia List of Cryptids - Now I know what you're thinking, "Isn't Wikipedia somewhat unreliable?" On the contrary, this particular page is quite reliable. I've been able to learn about Cryptids I hadn't even heard of. Definitely worth the look.

Ultraman Wiki - (Note: This is blocked by Lightspeed for being under forums.blogs, there is no inappropriate material (that I know of) on this site.)  This wiki has everything about Ultraman and the monsters he fights, most of them coming from the mind of the brilliant Eiji Tsuburaya.

Wikizilla - (Note: Also blocked by Lightspeed, filed under forums.blogs, there is no inappropriate content that I know of) The unofficial wiki for everything Godzilla, plus a few other monsters owned by different companies. Though Toho Kingdom can provide much of the same information, Wikizilla contains more in-depth information on kaiju.

My Reaction To: The New Gamera Trailer

So.... Gamera, the giant, fire-breathing flying-by-spinning-his-shell-while-flames-shoot-out-of-his-arms-and-legs-but-can-also-fly-by-turning-his-arms-into-fins-and-his-anatomy-is-actually-very-confusing-and-somewhat-inconsistent turtle who is the friend of all children and the guardian of the universe. Don't get me wrong I love the Gamera series but I don't understand why they're rebooting the series again. This could possibly be another sequel from the Millenium series which was awesome; but the new design suggests it's another reboot to the franchise. I'm starting to dislike all these reboots and remakes that have been coming out... Unless it fits a reboot of the original like the X-Files. The trailer looks really good, we have a new Gamera design, a new Gyaos design, and possibly a new monster (though there is always the chance it's a redesign of a previous monster). We have a new human main character, who thankfully isn't a (as Brandon Tenold describes them) Kenny. Just so you know, the very early Gamera films were geared towards children (apparently large amounts of blood and a beheading were considered child-friendly back then) and there Loren who would help Gamera save the day. Know I don't know if the original (Japanese dub) versions of the movies had them be annoying, but the altered (English dub) versions of these kids would not have a volume control. But I digress, the human main character starts out as a kid in the beginning of the trailer, but grows up later on, which provides a nice backstory for the trailer and giving a rough outline for the plot, unlike the Godzilla Resurgence trailer (curse/praise you Toho for being so good at keeping secrets!). Anyway, this looks like a really good movie and I'm excited for its release (which we still haven't had a release date for). Check out the trailer here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=17brZrkOmKI

My Reaction To: The Godzilla Resurgence Trailer

Oh. Heck. Yes. I am SO looking forward to this. I was really happy with what Legendary gave us in 2014 (they made up for what Tristar did in 1998 if you ask me) but now, after 12 whole years, Toho is finally making another Godzilla film. And based on the trailer, they're going all the way back to 1954.  From what you can see of Godzilla in the trailer, he appears to have gone back to the exact way that Ishirō Honda wanted him to be: a force on nature. His new, and rather gory and scary, appearance shows what I think is a more realistic result of being blasted by a Hyrdogen Bomb. The video is right here and I recommend you take a look: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3WkxVHyzivg

A quick introduction

Pepper pot with a plunger and pancake whisk screaming 'exterminate' at you? Humanoid moth flying over your car? Giant three-headed golden lightning-breathing space dragon attacking your city? This blog will have solutions to all of these problems... Except the last one, my best advice for that is to just run.

Hello, I'm a nerd. There are many, many different subjects that interest me. Particularly the different entities and phenomena that are works of fiction and possibly nonfiction. This is going to be more of a comedic and informational blog which hopefully will teach you things about different creatures from different fandoms and cultures around the world.

So, sit back and relax (or start grabbing stuff for your survival) and take a look at the many creatures out there, and the ways to survive them.
